Lullymore Road Train

Hop on the Lullymore Road Train. Sit back and enjoy the sights on one of our regular train trips around Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park. The train trip takes you on a ten-minute journey through a variety of landscapes – through the park ancient woodlands before entering the stunning peatland and lake areas. Keep an eye out for the abundance of wildlife now flourishing there.

The road train is great fun for all the family – young and old alike. We have recently added new carriages to the train so now it is bigger and better than ever!

While travelling takes a view to the left of the cutaway bog and the old Tougher Road which is thousands of years old or view the mythical Hill of Allen where Fionn MacCuhmaill once resided.

The train starts from 12 pm on most days and runs every half hour up until 4.20 pm weekdays and 4.40 pm at weekends. The road train at Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park is great fun for all the family. The train is wheelchair friendly and suitable for all ages. Kids can meet the train driver and get their pictures taken next to the locomotive.
