DISCOVER PRIMARY SCIENCE

The Discover Primary Science Trail is suitable for children aged between 7 and 13 years and is available for booking up to May 15th 2008 and then from September 01st 2008 to the end of the year.

The feedback from school visits since our launch in
November 2007 has been very positive—
“There are not enough superlatives to explain what a fantastic experience the children had. I cannot recommend Lullymore as a Science Centre highly enough and I will definitely return.” Mairead Traynor, Teacher, Culmullen N.S., 5th class visited us in November for Science Week 2007.

We feel that the programme will be very beneficial as we’ve tried to keep things simple and relevant e.g. we do a bit on Taxonomy about grouping animals into families – we use the crow family example as all children are familiar with them and can observe them no matter where they live.
